3. Select ONE of the six system building blocks in a country of your choice.
4. Describe one effective strategy/intervention that has been used in this country to improve this particular area of the health system.

The health care worker( docter, nurse and midwives) density in india is 20.6 per 10000 population. The health care services provided are not so good

This ratio compared to WHO recommendations for health care worker in a developed country is 2.3 per 1000 population was neccasary to attain a high level of health service

The six system building blocks of the country India are

Service delivery ,health workes, health information system , access to essential medicines and finance

Service delivery= the services provided to the population of the country should b of high quality and without discrimination. The services should be equitable and free of cost to population when there is good health service delivery there will b highest level of health in that country

The strategies used in India to improve the health status of it MASS MEDIA involvement the health system of India used the mass media to inform population related to health schemes, drinking of safe water, environment sanitaion and seeking medical advice when ever needed

Intervention objective = is a set goals in case of doing any action which would help to get the desired outcomes

Time frame of intervention = this is the interval of the time through which the particular action should b done to get the desired goals

Partners involved = means the participation of the local NGOS , other sectors which indirectly affect the health system their full participation will lead to get good outcome

The outcome of the strategy ( mass media) is very good because the health system of the community is improved by informing the population . People got the info so they take good step like pulse polio immunization which in turn improve the health of the community the etc
