Identify an Agricultural process and link that process in as many ways you can think of to Economy, Energy, and Employment
Agriculture is a primary sector profession that is dependent on natural resources like land, water and climatic conditions like temperature. In developed countries like USA it is capital intensive and in developing countries like India it is labor intensive.
I can think of harvesting crops is an important process which marks end of crop cycle.
Huge machines are employed in developed countries which do it in lesser tome with less waste produced. This waste produced can be a source of energy. Eg. Corn residue can be burnt as biomass or can be converted into manure that gives energy to new plants. This activity generates jobs in farming, machinery making companies and allied businesses. Final crops can be used domestically or exported and foreign exchange revenue can be generated.
Same activity in developing country will use many labors and generate more jobs to unskilled and semi-skilled people. Biomass is one of major sources of energy for them and it also makes room for manure making. Final crops can be used domestically or exported and foreign exchange revenue can be generated.
