HL7 is the set of format,standard and defination develop and also to excjange the EHRs(electronic health records.). It is very important role in the health care IT services as decided internationally. It is organised by a team of non profit organisations

Importance of HL7 in healthcare environment:

1. As health care system contains various computers to store the billing information also the patients data. So all these systems need to properly exchange the information when any new information is required or to be added. So to ensure the correct and logical way of data handling HL7 has importance.

2. All the health care application development uses HL7 standard while developing the applications so that it will be well accesible across the diferent health care organisation and in accurate manner.
