Answer: Ezetimibe is a drug which is used in the treatment of high cholesterol level in blood. The nurse should educate and inform the patient regarding the foods that he should avoid. Patient should avoid high fat content foods such as whole dairy products, coconut oil, meat, junk foods, saturated fats etc. The patient should consume low fat foods and high fibre. Nurse should also inform patient that he should not take medication along with the grape juice or fruit.
