Expert Solution

dog emaciation is the condition in which a dog is hungry or starving from more than 7 days and in this comdition you can see dogs ribs visibly with no muscles fat and fur.

obviously you need to take a veternary care to provide the nutrition to the do but some principles on a general matters they are

Create a individual animal chart for dog so that raily dietary regimen and schedule and input noted.

conduct a thorough inspection of body if there is any mark on any insect or anything on body which need to be healed or removed

record the dog normal temperature and weight and normal estimated weight on dairy

conduct the examination of each and every part thorougly teeth for fracture oral cavity whole any infection of eye and ear and skin for maggot and tapeworm so any of these if present should be healed or treated very first

do also check the whole body like adbdomen for palpation that dog shows any sign of pain or not you need to pALPate whole body one by one to rule out the problems.

check gum and tongue colour and also the physicals normal parameters like eye teeth colour skin colour hemorhhagic changes if present

offer food and drink and check dogs interest so that you can know the illness of the dog and according to this you need to provide the nutrution on daily basis and multiple times a day

dog food which contains every important nutrient should be given along with medication if required

protein and carbohydrates the given more in emaciation for energy

illness releive heals the body very well and 7 day diet of proper dog food with chicken content makes the dissapprance of ribs and generation of muscle over it and another 14 days makes the fat and fur on the dogs body

every imporant and minor should be noticed in early stages and done dogs heals fast and better from emaciation

4 basic primciples are under these only they are

1 treatment should be started early

2 any further damage should be stopped or prevented

3 Do take care of nutrution and abilities

4 treat a whole as well.
