• But our environment contains a lot of microbes which can be useful to humans.
• That's why all the microbes should not be eliminated.
• THUS IN ASEPTIC TECHNIQUES, we can eliminate the bacteria, germs, microbes which can cause contamination at certain level and prevent the good ones.

SIMILARITIES

• ​​​​​sterile techniques in laboratories requires elimination of harmful microbes so as to prevent contamination of culture in lab.
• Elimination of microbes is also required in hospitals so as to contain the chance of disease.
• They both require personal protection like masks, sanitizer,gown and sterilized equipment,etc.

• Sterilization in laboratories can be easily done as they have certain rules and BSL(bio safety levels).
• But when compared to hospitals this is not possible as they contain large number of people and thus cannot be sterilized completely.
