If the United States government came to you today and solicited your consulting to select the next president, what competencies would you use to make your judgement, and why? Keeping in mind this is a "fit" challenge more than an ability challenge, how would you go about ensuring the next president is a good fit for the job? Now, take those same competencies and apply them (as they fit) to your own leadership. Which items apply, and why do they fit you?
Presidents are supposed to be for everyone in the country, so, one of the most important characteristics of a would be president is treating everyone equally. America is a country that has got almost all the races from all over the world live in harmony thus, it becomes very important for the one who becomes president to treat all the races equally in order to be the real president of people.
The second characteristic of the president is to work for the ordinary people of America and not for the corporate companies. Although, America is an individualistic country, it’s very important for the president to think in a common man’s perspective.
The third characteristic of the president is to maintain international relationship well because the country’s economy and security depends on that.
The last characteristic is the president is openness to change because the society is constantly evolving and the population and business are also becoming more dynamic.
