ETHICAL AND BIOETHICAL ISSUE IN HEALTH CARE
Meaning of ethical issue: A situation or a problem that needed a person or organization to select in between option that must be evaluated as right (ethical) or wrong (unethical).
Maintaining high level ethical standards are very important in healthcare. In order to maintain these standards we need to follow four fundamental principles of ethics they are:
Beneficence: Actions that promote doing good to the patients.
Autonomy: Helping the patients’ right to make their own decisions.
Justice: Make sure to treat every patient fairly, equally being impartial
Nonmaleficence: Actions that does no harm to patients.
There are great many ethical issues health practitioners, clinical leaders and patients face in healthcare. Some examples of common ethical and bioethical issues include:
Do-Not-Resuscitate Orders
DNR Orders are written by a doctor and it instructs healthcare providers not to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) if a patient stops breathing or if their heart stops beating.

A person who undergoes euthanasia usually has an incurable condition. Euthanasia is the termination of a very sick person’s life in order to relieve them of their suffering.
