1. COVID 19 or Novel Corona virus Disease 19 is a highly infectious pandemic disease which is caused by the virus SARS- CoV 2.

COVID 19 is considered as an Advenitious Crisis. An Advenitious Crisis also known as social crisis , they are unexpected and sudden happenings , not a part of everyday life and may result from natural or manmade disasters, pandemics etc. This COVID 19 pandemic is considered as the global health crisis and major Challenge faced by the humanity. Many countries ate affected with its devastating effects. United States lost 111K lives due to COVID till today. Lockdown, that declared in many countries , greately affected the economy and many lost their loved ones and livelihood.

2. Mental health symptoms due to COVID 19 crisis:

COVID 19 pandemic resulted in increased incidence of Mental illness and problems such as stress , anxiety, depression, social isolation, sadness , loneliness etc.

3. Copying skills :

* Take care of your body:

-Eat healthy, avoid junk food and too much snacking.

- Drink safe water adequately

- treat throat infection with warm saltwater gargling.

- Avoid smoking and drinking

- Minimize screen time for mobile, television etc.

- Keep social distancing, wear mask

- Do the exercises daily to keep body fit.

* Take care of your mind:

- Think positively , limit exposure to news and medias , avoid listening to fake news.

- Keep the routine as usual( getting up , meal time) spend time with family,

*find time for creative things like drawing, handicrafts making, gardening, farming etc.

* Connect with others: Connect with family and friends, contact friends frequently.

* Maintain spiritual relationships,if any.

* Help others, a family member or an elderly

4. Most important assessment: Otherthan the physical problems, the main assessment should focus on Acute stress response to the disease. Aseess the level of severity of stress and potential complications to Depression. Many suicide cases are reporting from different countries , related with COVID infection.

. While interacting with the person, a health care provider can understand the stress of person . The nurse can assess the stress level of the patient.

Patient teaching:

* Explain the patient about benzodiazepines , any class of Psychoactive drugs,which used in the treatment of anxiety, insomnia and other related disorders, its uses.

* Instruct the patient to strictly follow the Doctor's order for drug schedule, warn against addiction.

* Instruct him that, Do not perform any task that need alertness ( driving ), as he may be drowsy after having the tablets.

* Avoid overdose

* Avoid alcohol or any other drugs without Doctor's order.

* Keep the drug safely out of reach of children.
