What type of performance measurement is used to evalute employees in public schools?
Following are the performance measurement used to evaluate employees in a public school:
1. Knowledge
The knowledge and skills of the teachers to handle students and impart education to them in nthe best possible way. They should nont just have thoeritical knowledge but also have practical expertise which can be applied. They should be a subject matter expert for all the doubts and queries.
2. Experience:
they should have experience inhandling kids and maintaing disciple and decorum of the school. They should know how to handle critical situation and realisze that each student has different needs.
3. Students performance:
They can even be judged upon the performance of the students whom they teach. The performance of students has to be monitored not just for marks but also competence in subject such as communication, speaking writing and othet subject relative activities.
4. Qualification:
The staff is evaluated on the qualification that they possess. It is important that they are experts and have the required qualification for teaching.
5. Add on initiatives:
They are evaluated on how well they are able to manage other work of the school such as administartion activities, program planning, trip planning, inter school competitions etc.
