What is an evolutionary tree? Is there a precise evolutionary tree that explains the emergence and origin of every type of living organisms?
An evolutionary tree is a diagrammatic representation which shows the association and relatedness among various biological species in a line diagram. The location of the organisms and the distance between them is a representative of their relatedness and time of evolution. Thus, an evolutionary tree is highly helpful in understanding the direct relation between different species of organisms in a single look.
Although the evolutionary trees are very helpful in understanding the relatedness and evolutionary relationship between organisms, any precise evolutionary tree which could explain all the relative locations and relationships between different organsims does not exist. This is beacuse every evolutionary tree is based upon the scientific facts and records which directly proves the relatedness among biological species. Since there are no sufficient proofs available for the explanation for emergence of origin of every type of living organism, such a huge and highly explanatory evolutionary tree does not exist.
