Gastrin :It is a peptide hormone ,released by G cells in the pyloric antrum of stomach,duodenum and pancreas. It stimulate the gastric acid secretion and helps in gastric motility.

CCK: Cholecystokinase is a peptide hormone,secreted by entero endocrine cells in the duodenum and Small intestine.It is a gastro intestinal hormone,stimulate the metabolism of fat and protein .

Motilin: Motilin is a 22 amino peptide. Produced by endocrinocytes in the mucosa of the proximal intestine. It is participate in control of smooth muscle contractions in upper gastrointestinal tract.It is a housekeeper of gut ,accelerate gastric emptying.

Secretin: It is a peptide hormone produced by S cells in duodenum. It regulates water homeostasis in body. It is maintain the environment in duodenum,pancreas,and liver by regulating secretions .

GIP:Gastric inhibitory polypeptide. It is a inhibiting hormone in secretin family. It is also known as glucose dependent insilunitropic polypeptide. Weakly inhibition of gastric acid secretion and stimulation of insulin secretion is the main functions of GIP hormone.

Orlistat :Is the gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor. It is drug designed to treat obesity.It works by blocking absorption of fat in the meal.

Colestipol :It is a bile acid sequestrant used to lower blood cholesterol.Use in the treatment of chronic diarrhea.

Proton pump inhibitor: Its main action is a profound and prolonged reduction of stomach acid production.

Proton pump inhibitor and high protein meal: Secretin ,Gastrin and gastric inhibitor poly peptide functions are affected by proton pump inhibitor and high protein diet. PPI inhibit the secretion of gastric acis. But to digest or metabolize proteins gastric acids are required.

Colistopil and high fat meals: It effects the function of cholecystokinase. It inhibitor cck production and reduce absorbing fat.

Orlistat and high fat meals.: Orlistat effects the function of CCK , by Inhibiting lipase enzyme .
