Emergency management is the organization and management of the resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies , with the goal of reduce the harmful effects of all hazards,including disaster. Emergency preparedness refers to the steps taken to be ready to respond to survive during an emergency. There are four steps in emergency planning : 1.Establish a planning team :Recognize the team members for developing emergency management plan. Determine who can be active members during emergency,with that form the team like upper management,labour,human resources,safety and health team,communication team,public information team. 2.Analyze capabilities and hazards this include gathering information about current capabilities and about possible hazards and emergencies. 3.Develop a plan. Include *Executive summary gives brief overview of the purpose of planning .*Determine emergency management elements like ,direction,control,communication,proper protection,community outreach,Human resources like health department. *Emergency response procedure: asses the situation,plan prevention measure's, protect general public,provide health care. *Maintain support documents. *Maintain coordinator with other organizations,Established training schedule for human resource about situation. 4.Implement the plan.:Means exercising plan at emergency time.
