A young adult female patient begins asking you questions regarding birth control choices. She states she feels uncomfortable asking her physician, Dr. Buckwalter. Can you act as an “intermediary” for her with Dr. Buckwalter? Do you have any ideas to help her regarding her fears surrounding the need for this discussion?

They are,

1) Barrier Techniques - Some of the barrier techniques are usage of condoms,diaphragm and cervical cap.

2) It is possible to use the intrauterine devices such as hormonal intrauterine devices like the kyleena and copper intauterine devices like the paragard,

3) Hormonal technique is one ofthe another important birth control choice and and some of the hormonal techniques are the usage of vaginal ring,birth control pills,contraceptive implants like single rod etonogestrel implant and two rod levonorgestrel implant and contraceptive injections.

4) Fallopian tube ligation in females and vasectomy in males are the sterilization methods.
