In addition to extending longevity, physical activity supports independence and mobility in later life by reducing the risk of falls and minimizing the risk of injury should a fall occur. ( )
How to build fitness and minimize the risk of overuse injuries? Please give your suggestion.
What role does nutrition play in the aging process, and what role can it play in slowing aging?
1Generally, the trace mineral contents of foods depend on soil and water composition and on how foods are processed - True
Most of the trace minerals are safe at intakes three times above current recommendations - False(it depends on each minerals)
All people need the same nutrients, but the amounts they need vary depending on their height and weight. - True, it depends on each person's height, weight, age etc.
A strong immune system depends on adequate nutrition. Poor nutrition weakens the immune system, which increases susceptibility to infections. - True, eg;deficiency in vitamins D increases susceptibility to infections.
In addition to extending longevity, physical activity supports independence and mobility in later life by reducing the risk of falls and minimizing the risk of injury should a fall occur - True
2.Suggestions :-
*To avoid the repetition that leads to overworked muscles and joints, incorporate a bunch of different movements into your day
*strengthen your whole body and not on particular parts
*have a balanced diet with enough calories
*run on soft or flat surfaces
*warm up before training. Warms up increase blood flow to working muscles and thereby reduces stiffness.
*increase workouts gradually and not suddenly. If we increase suddenly the muscles get more chances of injury.
