Marriage is a personal relationship defined and santioned by social customs, religions and institutions like churches, temples of civil courts. The macro level of marriage controls the interaction of people in society with the purpose of marriage and the arrangements associated with it.The micro level is the small scale which is mainly involved in maintaining the relations in marriage with communications and interactions. The symbolic representation involves the communication skill associated with maintenance of true relationship with healthy marital association without cheating and duplicity.Max weber discussed the importance that people have their own interpretation of the way of living and interacting in society until and unless they gain experiance in the form of work in companies, government or industries. The marriage is properly arranged with the help of ceremony, sanctity and religious consent and purification.
The micro-level analysis includes the perspectives involved in balancing job and family life.It depends upon a number of factors like work hours, time required to be spent with famil, children and wife, earning of husband and wife with mutual understanding and cooperation, and maintenance of relationships with relatives and friends in society.Various small nuclear family groups are studied under this perspective.
The macro-level studies the implications and situations involved in marriage like crime, rape, social injustice, marital discord, infidelity at the global level involving the regulation by court and international institutions.
