While a generalist may be able to diagnose across systems, specialists will focus their practice on a single system or a handful of organ systems. Osteopathic medicine tries to promote a more holistic understanding of medicine, focusing on the causes of disease and their effects on the body as a whole. This week, discuss the differences between the philosophies of traditional, allopathic medicine and osteopathic medicine. List the pros and cons of the procedures and practices reinforced at both types of institutions.

Most of the Asian countries depends on traditional allopathic medicine for their primary health care needs.It is an alternative form of medicine.They are associated with the maintenance of health.It include both acute care and prevention modalities.They believe in suppressing the symptoms ofa disease.
