Immunity is the defense of multicellular organisms against invasion of any harmful organism. 3 types of immunity are

1. Innate Immunity: This type of immunity is by virtue of the composition of an organism like species linked or gene liked. The organism is born with this type of immunity.Example: Skin acts as natural barrier against entry of microorganism, Cough reflex etc.

2. Natural Immunity: This is a type of immunity which is acquired naturally by an organism during the course of life by developing antibodies against the infections when we are exposed to them or you get . These antibodies provide us immunity from any further infections. Example Chicken pox infection results in the formation of antibodies that usually gives you protection from any further infection by varicella zoster

3. Artificial Immunity: This is a type of acquired immunity in which the body does not produce antibodies but is provided with antibodies from outside Example is breast milk which provides antibodies to the baby and protects it from any kind of infections in the initial stage of life . Another example is vaccination.
