PART-1) Describe the characteristics that you feel make this person an excellent leader.

If you want to give your business a good start toward success, it is important to begin with leadership, and excellent leadership need to hold the following characteristic:

1) Flexibility: As it is not necessary that everything goes as planned. Governments force new regulations on business, changing tactics of competitors, strikes stop the flow of products, and, occasionally, natural disasters may happen. In such scenarios, leaders should be able to change course; that is, first make sure their company will survive, and then find a new approach to reach their goals.

2) Effective communication: Effective leaders can share their thoughts with employees if possess good communication skills.

3) Tenacity, courage, and patience: The tenacity to not succumb to pressure, Having the courage to stand alone, and the patience to keep fighting until the leader win the day–and certain times being able to do all three at the same time–is something a leader will have to develop to be a successful and true leader.

4) Confident: Confidence and trust in leadership is a reliable display of employee satisfaction. Excellent leaders aren’t afraid of being challenged.

5) Drive and Orientation: Good leaders are those who can’t only work strategically and tactically, however can also be able to lead their team towards attainment of goal. As their efforts are not directed at gaining personal gains or control, the excellent leader’s aim is to make sure things happen

6) Allow for Autonomy and Accountability: Excellent leaders are also those who permit their team to develop autonomy and add value as per their own personal strengths. Being able to recognize the individuals strength within their team, and permitting them to be responsible and accountable, not only improves employees’ confidence in themselves and their leader, however also improves their performance.

PART-2) Describe one way in which you would like to make yourself a better leader.

Answer: I believe that leaders aren't born, they are made. Thus I feel to be a better leader you should always be developing your skills. Although I already possess the charismatic skills however will always improve from feedback that I receive from people around me. Moreover as I feel that effective leaders control their destiny, thus would also use the available training opportunities for better understanding of the job and to learn from every one of their experiences
