Drop an object from a certain height and measure the time it takes to reach the ground. Repeat at least 5 times and average the time data. Calculate this height by using the free fall formulas(this is the experimental height). Measure the height by using a measuring tape ( this is the Real height).

Report

Include a word description of your experiment. A drawing of your set up. Physics formulas used.

Finish with a % error of the height. % error=abs(Real-h-Exp-h)/Real h.

Assume Real-h is the height measured by tape and Exp-h calculated by free fall formulas.

If an object accelerates for infinite time, then it will in the end reach speed of light.
I have some question about relativistic features of objects which moves with speed of light. If an object accelerates for infinite time, then it will in the end reach speed of light. Then, to make it clear, assume a rocket with infinite power source (source is also assumed to be massless) that accelerates in space, or vacuum without any disturbance in its motion. Also assume that there is another rocket same as the one mentioned above and, in vacuum, it...

This is an interesting measure and takes time to digest. In France, for example, this is a very high number and taxes are high as a result. At the same time, there are many services like education, and healthcare that are paid for as part of this. We understand this concept when it comes to our cell phone, but in the US we have an immediate negative response to taxes. Imagine if you will your taxes go from 10,000 to...

A researcher is interested in a possible relationship between height and the time it takes to run a 100 meters. With a random sample of 57 people, the researcher finds a Pearson correlation coefficient r = − 0.492. Group of answer choices A. There is a very strong correlation between these variables. As height increases, generally the 100-meter run time decreases. B. There is a very strong correlation between these variables. As height increases, generally the 100-meter run time increases...
