The legislative branch of government is most powerful branch it is also known as congress and it has senators that work for the legislature , it is most powerful amongst alll as it can vote and go against the orders of president and it can also countermand over the presidents veto power. The legislature can together amend the constitution and can make necessary changes with respect to the requirement of the nation or society. Also any new law or regulation is first introduced in the legislature and with the votes of congress members it is passed to the president. This power of congress can not be passed to anyother agency. Now the power of legislation in the real and practical terms has reduced because the real power of legislature lies in the unity of senate members of congress but this unity is very rare and vulnerable now a days and the second reason is of self absorbed goals of the senators , this can be seen in the fact that not a single president has been removed by congress from the office as it requires 2/3rd of majority in the congress to attain this result. Also the congress now a days share the ideology of president inn majority and a law or amendment or any decision can be passed or can be taken in congress which is against the ideologies or the interests of the president.
