Drugs should be legalized in the USA, because it will facilitate the effective use of the drugs for medicinal purposes. Hence, beneficial aspects of these drugs will be used for the best interest of the people. Further, there are following arguments in favor of the legalization of drugs in the USA.

1. Legalization of drugs, bring registration of drug dealers and their operations. It will reduce the undercover activities and crime rate will decrease.

2. It will regulate the production, distribution and marketing of drugs and it will be done under the proper channels. So, black marketing is prevented.

3. A positive sides of these drugs will be explored that can be useful in treatment of different complex diseases. So, these drugs should be legalized.

Above are the reasons that many states in the USA, have Medical  use of Cannabis even if FDA has not approved it. Some of these states have observed decriminalization also. So, it is important to take it as opportunity to explore the positive side of it.
