do you agree with your results? explain. which of these styles is most important in your role as a student ?( analytical, conceptual, directive, behavioral). Based on your answer to question2, what might you do to modify your decision making style? My result is Directive style. I need 300 words.
As a student the most important style in decision making is analytical. Here more information is explored before taking an action unlike the directive style where direct decisions are taken based on their own knowledge and experience rather than seeking any other outside useful information. Mostly students follow directive leadership style where they make quick decisions without communicating extra. But these decisions are impulsive in nature. A student needs to change its approach in complex situations. An analytical decision maker relies on facts and data to support their decision. He seeks advice from other also before making any decision. This is a long term approach where decisions take time to be made but are the most relevant with high tolerance for ambiguity. This is kind of a fact based decision making to guide appropriate action. So changing circumstances calls for changing decision making style. Once you realize that you are using direct decions to make the most difficult task simple then u should know that it is the time to change your style. One thing a student needs to keep in mind while going for analytical decision making is don’t over analyse and over think and not reaching a decision due to this.
