Minerals are used to work the body in a proper way. If body does not absorb the required amount of minerals is called as mineral deficiency.

Calcium deficiency:

  • Calcium is essential for strong bones and teeth and also to function blood vessel,muscles,nerves and hormones.
  • Symptoms of calcium deficiency fatigue,poor appetite, numbness,muscle cramps.
  • Natural sources of calcium is available in Milk,Yogurt,fish with bones, broccoli, cabbage, and cereals, juices

Iron deficiency:

  • Iron is important to maintain hemoglobin that carries oxygen to tissues and to maintain healthy.
  • Symptoms include weakness and tired.
  • Natural Sources include beans or lentils, meat and poultry.

Magnesium deficiency:

  • Magnesium is used to control blood glucose level and to maintain blood pressure. Magnesium is essential for function of nerves,muscles,energy metabolism,brain function.
  • Symptoms includes fatigue,weakness,nausea and vomiting.
  • Natural Sources include legumes,nuts,seeds and green leafy vegetables.

Potassium deficiency:

  • Potassium is required for muscle contraction,heart function and electrical impulses and also helps to convert carbohydrate into energy.
  • Symptoms include muscle cramping,weakness,constipation,bloating and abdominal pain.
  • Natural Sources to get fruit and vegetables,banana,avocado,potatoes,orange and plums

Zinc deficiency:

  • Zinc play major role in protein synthesis,immune system function,wound healing and DNA synthesis.
  • Symptoms include loss of appetite,taste,loss of hair,diarrhoea.
