What strategies, besides the use of learning styles, can a nurse educator consider when developing tailored individual care plans, or for educational programs in health promotion? When should behavioral objectives be utilized in a care plan or health promotion?

Strategies that promote learning include actively engaging learners in the learning process; organizing content using a simple-to-complex format; promoting environmental comfort (physical and psychologic); and repeating key concepts and facts. The educator should ensure that content is relevant to the learners' personal experiences, not those of the educator.
#. Behavioral objective are used when the care giver is dealing with a patient or population that requires behaviour change in order to promote health.
