Explain, "Accidents do not just happen, they are caused."

Solutions

Expert Solution

Accidents dont just happen they are caused .They are caused by the actions or inactions of one or more people.Around the world accidents rank among the chief killers to mankind. From nation to nation statistics are equally grim whereever the automobile is extant. and in many nations the statistics are even more macabre.Whenever there is an accident whether the result is a fatality or a broken plate or anything inbetween someone is sure to ask "How did it happen?"The answer should always be the same ""it was caused".

Suppose you fall down the stairs in your house and break a leg .That didnt just happen .Something made you fall..Road accidents are the most common thing and majority of these accidents are caused by human fault these crashes are fatal and take almost thousands of lives every year. Its just this simple .not everydangerous act produces an accident But no accident is ever produced unless one or more factors are involved.Sometimes we kid ourselves by thinking "well everyting is just right,so i can break the rule;because it wont produce an accident in this case".That kind of thinking is just what producers all those deaths you hear about from .In your daily work ,you know the safe way to do the job .just remember that if you always do your job that way,you will never be the person who caused an accident.

Pleasure in destruction _a personality in which pleasure is derived from destroying things.

My safety is not a core value to me.

Accidents are not the result of bad luck. There is a cause for every effect.Every accident has a direct cause.Of course carelessness is often involved .Ignorance is often partly responsible.

These are some rules for safety.

Obey the rules

Be alert ,vigilant aware of potential danger

Be safety conscious-think safety.

Drive defensively-dont take foolish chances

Train your children to obey you instantly.

know where your children are ,what they are doing ,At all times.

Avoid temptations dont leave poisons or dangerous objects lurking in the reach of small children.

Keep your home and automobile clean and in good repair-a place for everything and everything in its place.

In case of accident dont panic.Keep cool calm and collected.Take proper first aid measures and call the proper authorities as necessary.

Dont let life just happen to you.Dont live accidentally.Dont live daringly.Dont take risks. Some of us have special responsibilities that have an effect on everyones safety.but for the mostpart your own safe behaviour is your own greatest safeguard.Remember that when you are tempted to take a shortcut or break the safety rule just this once or just for a minute .That one minute could be exactly when the accident doesnt happen but is caused.

According to an international aviation firm, fatal accidents occur in just around one in every five million flights. With about 100,000 flights per 24 hour day worldwide, this means fatal accidents happen at a rate of 1 per 50 days. This translates to an average of 0.6 accidents per month. Assume that the number of fatal air accidents worldwide follows a Poisson distribution with λ=0.6 per month. Compute the probability that no fatal air accident will happen anywhere in the...
