How empathy is likely to have evolved in humans?
ANSWER-
empathy means the connection which a human being feel for the other person and the capacity to understand the situation by which they are going through.
empathy is evoloved with time due to the following reasons -
i) it help in surviving in the past and is helping in surviving in the present. the capacity to help others and to show concern have increased the ancestors to live together and to stay united and thus this pattern keep on continuing.
ii)another reason, as its beens een that every mammal out there is sensitive for the well being of their offsprings and show love and concern for them, the same trait is accumulated in human beings as they are mammals too and it helps them to survive .
iii)as with time , the humans start growing into civilisations and they learn to how to protect themselves not only from animals but from other civilisations and this increases the empathy towards their nation and society in which humans live.
iv) also, with the passage of time, as of evolution, the neural connections changed and reconnected as per the evolution requiremnt and this resulted into humans into more empathetic
v) the more a human is social the more he is empathetic towards the soceity and the more he have empathetic trait in him. this is a social behaviour which make a human more concerned towards the others rather than for himself.
vi) when humans strated to live together and grow together, they started hunting together, they relasize its just because of helping each other , they would be able to survive and this resulted into more concern and empathy, as divided they fall and united they stand.
vii) we can also connect it to genes, that with the subsequent generations, the humans turns out to be more empathetic because of the behavioural transfer from parents to offsprings and it keep on conitnuing.
these were few of the basic reasons for the growing evolution in terms of being empathetic
