African Americans had provided their services to the military of US in each and every war fought by us. Discrimination existed against the black persons who had provided the service in the US military existed from its origin during the period of revolutionary war till the end of the segregation by the president Harry S.Truman's executive order 9981 in 1948.in the revolutionary war that African Americans had said on both the sides of the warin the ability and capacity of fighting both men as well as slaves. The northern state freed slaves and so they open their state military where as this was not applicable in the south. In South restrictions prevailed on among the slaves as the pattern of South had here from the worst cases from the former slaves. Over 100000 slaves manage to escape to the British line.
