A database is termed as a set of information which is arranged in such a manner for easy accessibility, management and updates. The computer databases mostly contain aggregated files or data records which contain information related to interactions with customers, product details and many more.

There are main four objects in the databases in Access which are “reports”, “forms”, “queries” and “tables”. These four objects work together and allow an authorized person to fill, store, arrange and adjust the data according to the needs.

The arrangement of vertical columns and horizontal rows is said to be a table. Columns are called fields and rows are called records. A field is more valuable than a record because it is useful in arranging and organizing the data by is type.

(A)

Tables are useful in storing information which is closely related. Let’s say one has a database which includes a table with patients’ names and information, home addresses, contact numbers and other information. Every patient would be displayed by a special record and all the related data will be stored in its own field. The tables are the aspects which should be identified as the foundation for the database by the nurses.

Thus, the option (A) is correct.

(B)

The way of searching in the data and arranging or compiling data from one or more tables is termed as “queries”. When someone utilizes the “queries” term, it is somewhat similar to asking a well-detailed question from the database. It cannot be used as a foundation of the database.

Thus, the option (B) is incorrect.

(C)

The objects which are used to enter, modify and view the information in records are termed as forms. Forms are commonly used because of its easy accessibility and the way of guiding people to the database. However, it is also not an aspect of the foundation of the database.

Thus, the option (C) is incorrect.

(D)

The ability to present or display the data in the print form is offered by reports. Any computerized printout of patient details or medical investigations is database reports. These are very much useful many components of the database are in a readable format. But, these are not meant to be the foundation of the databases.

Thus, the option (D) is incorrect.
