Nursing ethics is a branch of philosophy dealing with values pertaining to human conduct, considering the rightness and wrongness of actions and the goodness or badness of the motives and ends of such actions.
5 R's IN NURSING ETHICS: The 5 R's in nursing ethics is to promote healthin expected and unexpected life events. They includes a) Respect b) Recognition c) Resources d) Responsibility and e) Results.
#1. My personal values include a) human diginity b) kindness c) sympathy d) altruism e) responsibility f) commitment g) justice h) honesty and finally i) personal and professional competency.
#2. Nursing ethics should be valued for the following a) respect patients b) maintain patient's diginity and c) to protect patient's rights.
#3. The values of society includes a) future generations b) environmental awareness c) ecology and d) sustainability.
#4. Nurses have probably always known that their decisions have important implications for patient outcomes. They probably make choices through decision making and based on the informations.
#5. Making value based choices is always not easy. At this time check for top priority values and approach with confidence and clarity.
#6. Values are important because they help us to grow and develop. Societal values are our personal beliefs about what is important, unimportant, right,wrong,good or bad.
