Trade is one of the most important sources of growth. Trade helps the economy to specialize in what they produce more efficiently and allow them to sell it to the customers who valued them most. This ensures lower cost of production and higher profit margins. Trade also enables the economy to consume beyond its productive capacity. Hence, trade increases country’s income and ensures faster growth.

Trade restriction is the obstacle to free trade in terms of tariff, quota and other barriers to trade. These trade barriers act against the benefit of free trade. The trade barrier generates losses to the society and retard economic growth. The trade does not destroy jobs and neither protects the domestic industry from loss in the long run.

Trade restriction creates losses to the society. If the foreigner cannot sell their product, they cannot acquire the home currency needed to buy the home products. This hurts the export sector. The export producing industry experiences falling profit and decrease in employment. Although, protection retains the jobs in import competing sector, the employment in export sector decreases due to protection. On the other hand, if any industry buys the input from foreigners, the protection increases the price of these inputs. The cost to the industry increases and they lose their competitiveness in global market. For all these reason, the trade restriction is not at all desirable to protect the prosperity of a nation.

I think we will all agree that getting your Masters degree is a major milestone. We use the term milestone all the time in ordinary English. However, it is a "word of art" in project management.  People, what do we mean when we say that "Task-27 is a Milestone Task"? What value do milestone tasks have in our schedule do you think? How do you indicate a milestone in the schedule in Microsoft Project?

Joe bought an oven from Menard's. The sales contract included a statement clearly disclaiming all implied or express warranties, which included the implied warranty of merchantability. The disclaimer was written in the identical size and color as the rest of the contract. The oven never worked right. Joe wanted a refund of the purchases price, claiming that Menard's had breached the implied warranty of merchantability. Can Joe get back the purchase price, although the warranty disclaimer was in the contract?...

What role should religion play in government? As you develop your argument, think about the following questions: What do supporters of religion in government (accommodationists) value? How do they view the world? What about those who believe in the separation of church and state (separationists)? Why do they disagree so strongly with the accommodationists? Why might separationists who also happen to be religious believe in the separation of church and state? How can we rectify the fact that America is...
