Every semester after course grades are sent out, professors are swamped with emails from students asking why they got the grades they did (always below expectations). The answer usually is that they messed up on the final exam. Use your knowledge of opportunity cost to provide to these professors advice or suggestions on how to reduce these solicitations in the future? Hint: Hint: simply ignoring student emails is not an option.
The opportunity cost of responding to each and every mail is high as the professors usually are on the busier side. abe per your order to reduce the time and the mail separately it would be better if the feedback was given directly with the grades in a separate folder where the students might understand why they got less grades therefore they would stop mailing the professors and through this way one can reduce the solicitations in the future
