An autorhythmic heart cell is one in which
Autorhythmic cells are the pace maker cells which initiates the electrical impulses in the heart. ..
They are Sinoatrial node, atrioventricular node, purkinje fibers
All the three can initiates electrical impulses but in normal conditions only SA node behaves as pacemaker because its firing rate is too fast when compared to the others
Finally the autorhytmicity is due to the presence of leaky or funny sodium channels which are exclusively found in pace maker cells and they are leaky to sodium ions so that the cell reaches to threshold and automatically fires an action potential
