What potential challenges and opportunities are available for collaboration in your nursing practice?
Any healthcare professionals have to face many challenges in their career. Nursing is well placed to plan, respond and lead in these current times of significant change and through the future predicted changes within the healthcare landscape. There is a need to look inside and outside health literature and the nursing frame of reference to inform our thinking about the opportunities and challenges into the future for nursing practice.This professional requires hardwork, as it is not a just a profession but also tackling the problems of those people who are not related to us. Nursing requires leaders who are highly creative in their thinking, to be able to piece together multiple pieces of seemingly unrelated information, and test out new approaches in the pursuit of new meaning in support of nursing patient care. Nursing leadership requires core capabilities to work in an interprofessional way across the healthcare contributing to and using big data sets and research to inform the needs of patients and their families. Collaboration is a perfect way to ensure that patients get proper care. Nurses are like the hub of a wheel with all of the other health professionals branching out from it. Profession such as doctors, allied health professionals and co-workers are the most common healthcare workers a nurse has to collaborate with.
