HCAHPS (the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) is a survey conducted by the center of the medicaid and medicare service, also known as CMS. the main purpose of the HCAHPS is to provide the standardized survey instrument, as well as the data collection methodologies to measure the patient's perspective on the healthcare sevices.

1. Cardiopulmonary:

In order to reach the A-level services in curing the cardiopulmonary disorders, the medical service facility should have all the breathing devices. first of all, the physician and the patient shuld listen all the problems faced by the patient and accordingly advise and prescription should be given. The cardioulmonary disorders mainly lead to breathing problems, so, all the breathing equipments along with the ECG equipments should be present. The prescribed advise should be explained. In this cases, the arrythmia and the angina is also one of the common symptoms, which should be managed by the pain killers. NSAIDs should be carefully given to these patients. in case, the patient comes to an emergency department, the equipments should be handy enough to use in least time. after discharge, the nurse should explain the frequency of the prescribed drug along with the side effects. in the hospital, the environment should be clean and infection free. the dust and other particles should be minimal because, teh presence of particles in the air can worsen the respiratory problems.

2. Critical care: the environment in the critical care section should be patient friendly. also, the patients who are having serious infections, should be kept isolated. all the equipments in this section should be handy. also, the staff should be always available, as the patients in these sections are critical, and teh condition is life threatening so, they need extra attention.

3. Emergency services: the emergenecy services should be very easy to access. It is preferred that they are around the entrance of the hospital, they shoudl not be situated on the top floors, beacause the patients coming to this section can be very critical. all the staff memebers should available all the time. some specialist and critical care expert should be present all the equipments should be handy. the environments should be clean and infection free.

4. Maternity and Child Services with NICU: this ward should have gynacologist, anesthia staff should always be available. all the equpments related to the assisted birth should be available. The cleanliness should be taken care. all the trained nurses should be present, a surgeon should always be there, in case the caeserian delivery is required. The hospital should have their own nursery, and the breathing devices for child and mother. The staff should be cooperative and the labor pain and the cervical dilation shoould be regularly monitored. after the delivery, the feeding instruction should be provided to the moter and at the time of discharge all the child and maternal care measures should be explained.

5. Medical and Surgical: this section should always have a queue of trained staff, including physicians and nurses. an anesthesia expert should be present. The disposal of the waste and sharps should be done properly. this section should also have the equipments required for the measuring the physiological parameters of the patients.

6. the cath labs: this section should laways have all teh equipments in working condition, there should be a queue of trained staff, also, all the equipments related to heart problems should be present. A radiologist should be present, after the treatment the precautionary measures should be explained properly. the infection mamangement should be done properly, the environment shoulde be sterilized.

7. radiology: the radiology unit must have a trained radiologist and all the equipments in working condition, the environment should be strilized and the nurse should take care of the condition of patient and all the precautionary measure related to the test, and the same should be explained to the patients.

8. rehabilition: the rehabilition staff must include apolite psychologist and a queue of nurses. the medicines related to calming and naking the person stress free should be present, the environment should be infection free or the strilization should be done according to the patients.

9. STEMI: in the STEMI section, the emergency care should be properly done. it must have a que of trained staff and nurses. all the equipments related to the detection of heart functioning should be present and critical care should be done properly, a sterilized enviroment should be present and during the in hospital care and discharge the nurse should explain all the precautionary measures carfully.
