Expert Solution

1.Kcal needs: 2350; protein needs: 150 g/d

ENSURE PLUS top feeds can be effective in this condition, because ensure plus has 350kcal , 13gram of protiens in 100ml serving so if you give 10 feeds per day per 100ml then it will be 3500kcal and around 130 grams of protiens per day, so that you can achieve your nutrtional goals for the patient

2.Kcal needs: 1875; protein needs: 70 g/d

In this case you can go for NUTRISON ENERGY supplyments which has 150kcal, 6 grams of protiens per 100ml . so if you give 10 feeds(150ml per feed) that will be 2250 kcal and around 90grams of protien per day.

3.Nova source renal is going at 55cc/hr/24hours. so nova source renal will come in 237ml bottle so each 237ml of nova source contains 475kcal, 21.6grams of protien and 170ml of free water. if patient is at 55cc/hr/ 24 hours then patient is getting around 2645kcal/per day , 120 grams of protien per day and around 946ml of free water in 24 hours.

4.If the patient is on 65cc/hr/day means patient will get around 1560ml per day and physician wants to change the feeds from 24 hours settimgs to four times a day then the bolus feeds will be around 390ml per feeds and four feeds can be given .

5.with the same recieving impact (390ml per feeds) and patient needs of protien increased to 100grams per day then i would suggest NUTRSION ENERGY supplyments which has 6grams of protien per 100ml then when we are giving 390ml per feeds four times a day then around 96 grams of protiens can be achived per day

They calculate a sample mean weight of 99 g and a sample standard deviation of 0.9 g. The advocacy group wants to use these sample data to conduct a t-test on the mean. Assume that all conditions...
