Answer:When there is a contrast population and industrial mixture exist, Structural unemployment comes into picture.With introduction of new advanced technology can create downslope trend in older industries.To stay remain in business, they need to lay off their employees.Hence it will lead to structural unemployment.Newspaper industry is one such example.There are end number of newspaper employee lost their job due to digital revolution.

This example meets the definition of structural unemployment because sometimes employee doesn't able to change itself as world changes with introduction of advance technology.In the end it will become stuctural unemployment in society.Carpooling is a way people make some bucks in office hours as there is strict order of government,every car have 3 to 4 passengers.It is going on in various countries.So people avoid getting a ticket also make some bucks.But this job is not in U.S
