Assess the current economic situation and create a post that answers these questions:
Is the current administration more concerned with reducing unemployment or inflation?
Does the Fed share the opinion of the administration?
If not, is the current administration publicly criticizing the Fed?
Is the Fed publicly criticizing the administration?
The current Obama Administration is more concerned about the unemployment more than inflation since according to recent figures the rate of unemployment has dipped to 5.0% which is an overall low of the past six years. While the inflation rate has remained moderate over the past six years by being constant. Its neither too low nor too high. The Obama Administration has been successfull in reducing the number of food stamps and also has significant increase in the labor participation rate. Hence it is obvious that the current administration is concentrating on both the factors of reducing unemployment and reducing inflation.
No, the Fed does not share the opinion of administration since, despite showing clear numbers, the Fed opposes the views of the current adminsitration and feels that the inflation will have to be controlled which in turn will take care of the other issues corresponding to it.
The current Administration has its figures displayed openly to public where the people will be able to analyse the facts and figures which indicates that the current administration is publicly criticizing the Fed.
Yes, the Fed seems to share its opinion about administration and criticize the actions of Fed since the being the prime opposition of the current administration they will have to criticize the pitfalls of Obama's administration which they will have to consider as constructive criticism. Both the Government will have to work for the goodwill and benefit of the people.
The arguments are supported by the facts and numbers presented in the following site: http://www.factcheck.org/2016/01/obamas-numbers-january-2016-update/
