Some observers argue that since c02 and temperature levels have been much higher in earth’s history than they are today. The current concerns about the human contribution to climate change are overblown. How would you empirically test this argument?
CO2 levels have been on a rise and this has caused concerns about the climate change. Countries across the globe have decided to come together to stop the climate change before it is late. However, there is another line of argument that CO2 levels were higher in the past when compared to today. But it should be noted that the last time these CO2 levels were this high, human beings did not exist. Scientists have found that CO2 levels have been growing at an alarming rate.
It is necessary that we take action and reduce the CO2 emissions. The human contribution to climate change is definitely not overblown because the emissions recorded lately are the highest emissions recorded in many decades.
