what stereotypes have been promoted about First Nations people and why have these images been so common in Canada in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries?
Stereotypes like First Nation people are scamsters amd fraudsters and dont pay taxes is common notion being built in 19th and 20th century as majority of population in Canada belonging to First nations haven't paid taxes or evaded taxes and indulged in criminal activity and illegal pursuits. The numbers are rising exponentially and thus this section is largely avoided and perceived differently.
