PLEASE answer all, I dont have any more questions left (PLEASE)
One connective tissue category is dense connective tissue. Tissues in this category include dense irregular connective tissue, dense regular connective tissue, and elastic connective tissue.
• In comparison with areolar connective tissue – which might be considered the “connective tissue standard” – in what sense does the term “dense” apply to all three types of dense connective tissue?
• What is the primary way in which dense irregular connective tissue differs from dense regular connective tissue?
• What is the primary way in which elastic connective tissue differs from the other kinds of dense connective tissue?
• In all three kinds of dense connective tissue, the primary cell type is the fibroblast. How might “differences in cell behavior” account (at least in a general way) for differences between dense irregular connective tissue and elastic connective tissue? For what reason might it be difficult to extend the same argument to apply to differences between dense irregular connective tissue and dense regular connective tissue?
Areolar connective is loose connective tissue. It composed of adipose tissue and 80% of fat and basic structure of connective tissue which are arranged in loose fashion in tissue. So they are considered connective tissue standard.
Dense irregular connective tissue in which collagen is not arranged in parallel. It is aarenged in differently oriented bundles while in dense regular connective tissue it is arranged in parallel to each other in the form bundle which consists of specific orientation.
Dense regular connective tissue found in ligament and tendons while dense irregular in dermis of skin tissues. In dense regular collagen fibres is stretched in one direction while in dense irregular it is stretched many directions.
Elastic connective tissue differs from all dense connective tissue in which they contain protein elastin and fibrillin. These proteins present in organised into lamellar sheets of walls of areteries. These fibres are stretchable. Due to collagen fibres nature and their locality it is difficult to differ dense regular and dense irregular connective tissue.
