Education has a great positive impact on the society. The social benefits of education are:

a) Education has a great effect on employment. Educated person are more likely to get jobs. It is seen that higher is the level of education, better is the job prospects since they provide better skills and knowledge.

b) Employment generated by education reduces the poverty among the people. Education helps people to earn better incomes and develop their basic needs. Reduction in poverty leads to reduction of inequality among the people.

c) Education causes a reduction in crime since an educated person has better understanding of right and wrong. Education allows children to have a goal- oriented planning strategies to improve their adulthood. Moreover, children who are provided education learns the non-violent and safe ways to handle their feelings like discomfort and anger.

d) People having higher education has higher skills which allows them to be more productive. It encourages people to enhance their talents making them more efficient in their work.

e) We know productivity and economic growth has a direct relationship. Higher productivity allows the economy to fulfill more needs of the people with limited resources. This leads to economic growth. Moreover, education provides better knowledge skill about labor supply which is a factor determining economic growth.

f) Educated people benefits by having accurate knowledge about their health. Since, educated people earns more they have better access to quality health care. It encourages people to have healthier lifestyle like doing exercise, following diet, etc. Hence, education leads to better medical health for population.
