Factors contributing to the raise in veganism :
I like going vegan but not always.The reason is that I belong to a non vegan family and was used to have this from my child hood.If I decide to be a vegan completely I should never look me as non vegan which is actually impossible for me.
If I am a vegetarian I would choose crispy corn,baked potatoes,vegetable biryani,mushrooms,cauliflower made recipes etc.
If I decided to follow a strict vegan diet it's really very challenging with friends and family because could not mingle with those people who eat non vegan food and as I was a non vegan previously it us more challenging to control my self to not get influenced with the aroma of the diet.
Carefully planned vegetable diets provides good sources of calcium and also other minerals and vitamins.Where as if vegan diet was poorly planned this leads to iron deficiency anaemia ,hypocalcemia as it was poorly planned.
Diet alterations that can be made to eat less meat is to have a plan of eating meat only on particular day in a week.Planning of having certain grams of meat in a week which is only the required amount.Preparing a variety of vegetable foods which develops cravings.
