Infection control is one of the prioritized health care establishments. The prevention of health care associated infections is the key to the provision of high-quality ,safe health care.In a hospital the chances of infections are high ,opportunities for the disease transmission is numerous. So it is a big responsibility to find out the weaknesses and danger zones.Hospitals are using the efficacy of UV lighting which show that the bacteria responsible for clostridium difficile infections can be killed on surfaces in hospital rooms using proper technology.Hospitals which have implemented robots to perform cleaning and disinfection in rooms have positive results.Another challenge faced by the infection control is the water contamination. The presence of sinks for better handhygiene like splashing of water have the potential to aerosolize contaminated water droplets and infect patients nearby. The solution would be that the sink is deep enough that it cant splash on your clothing.
