Explain briefly the driving procedure of the following system using suitable diagrams.
i. Electrostatic system
ii. Pneumatic system

Solutions

Expert Solution

The driving feature for the following systems are given below :-

1.) Electrostatic system:- The driving procedure for an electrostatic system is the mechanical force (either attraction or repulsion) generated due to two charges placed statically in any medium. This happens because the electro static charge encompasses the force that is attractive if both the charges are opposite in nature and repulsive if the charges are same in nature.

2.) Pneumatic system :- The driving procedure for a pneumatic system is same as that of a hydraulics but the pneumatic system transmit power using a gas instead of liquid i.e. with pneumatic system air is usually pumped into the receiver using compressor. The receiver holds a large volume of compressed air to be used by the pneumatic system.

The following diagram given above are for pneumatic system and electrostatic system.
