Synthesis and decomposition reactions are the two biochemical reactions which together perform in the process of the metabolism.
During metabolism these two biochemical reactions are involved with the process of PROTEIN SYNTHESIS in our body. In this process new proteins are synthesized by individual cells whereas in decomposition reaction, proteins breakdown into smaller amino acids or polypeptides which is otherwise known as proteolysis.
REVERSIBLE REACTION-
The process in which a product formed can be again converted into the reactants is called reversible reaction. In our body reversible reaction is involved in the transportation of oxygen through hemoglobin which binds to oxygen molecules and tranport it to the capillaries. After releasing oxygen molecules the same process is repeated with carbondioxide as well.
Thus in this reaction hemoglobin, carbon dioxide and oxygen act as reactants and hemoglobin bound to oxygen or carbon dioxide are the products.
Negative feedback loop-
Negative feedback loop in homeostasis maintains the balance of various internal factors by holding on to the equilibrium state. One of the example is human body temperature. The hypothalamus regulates the body temperature and responds accordingly. when the body temperature gets higher body sweats and shivers when the temperature gets lower.
