^{Polio vaccine is used to prevent poliomyelitis. Polio is serious illness caused by Virus called poliovirus. Polio mainly affects children under the age of 5 years. Polio is very infectitious. The infection spreads from person to person through contact with infected person. Specially the children should get polio vaccine at these ages-}

^{2- months, 4 months, 6-8 months and booster dose at 4-6 years.}

^{Polio is severe disease causes disability and even death of infected person.}

^{Common side effects of vaccine include-}

^{Rabies vaccine-}

^{Rabies vaccine is used prevent rabies. Rabies is virus that is usually spread by bite of an infected animal.}

^{Without early treatment it can be fatal. Rabies causes inflammation of brain in humans and other mammals. The person who is exposed and has never been vaccinated against rabies should get 4 doses of rabies vaccine.}

^{One dose right away and other on 3rd, 7th and 14th days.}

^{Rabies infection caused from animals leads to encephalomyelitis that is the inflammation of brain as well as spinal cord.}
