What are the factors that can affect disease occurrence at the international, national and localized level causing variations in the rate of diseases? Give an example of each.
Step 1
Emerging infectious diseases are on the rise, causing deaths in the lives of humans and livestock, as well as high social costs. Many factors, including climate change , globalisation and urbanisation, lead to the emergence of diseases, and most of these factors are caused to some degree by humans.
Step 2
Diarrhoeal diseases can all be caused by a lack of clean water, insufficient waste disposal facilities , poor sanitation, poor living conditions and unhealthy food. In an emergency situation, these disorders are a significant cause of distress and death. In a number of ways, climate can influence the transmission of diseases
Ecological changes, such as those due to agricultural or economic growth or climate anomalies, are responsible factors; human demographic changes and behaviour; travel and trade; technology and industry; microbial adaptation and change; and the breakdown of interventions in the field of public health.
