What is the most likely condition is ori presenting with? Is this a new or chronic condition? Explain.

Explain how the lipid values are related to ori’s main condition.

Explain the urea and creatinine values.

What is the significance of the urine tests?

What is metabolic syndrome? Does ori have it? Explain why you think this.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer -

ori is presenting with diabetes and this is a chronic case this is because the other serum values suggest lipids and protein in urine is higher usually the indication of prolonged diabetic condition or chronic case.

Answer -

The lipid values are higher then the normal values and this condition is known as dyslipidemia which is a condition which usually arises in diabetes type 2 patients. This dyslipidemia condition rises due to disturbed metabolism in the diabetic individual . Hence the dyslipidemia condition is correlated to to Ori 's condition.

Answer -

The level of the creatinine is higher while the urea is about to cross the normal values these higher value for elevated levels of creatinine and urea is an indication of renal damage.

Due to renal malfunctioning the level of the creating and urea is found to be higher in the blood which is an clear indication of renal damage or injury

Answer-

There is a higher significance of urine test because It helped in the diagnosis and screening of health problem. urine test indicates the health of the kidney because it is seen that many of the diseases such as diabetes has a significant effect on the health of kidney and can cause malfunctioning and failure of the kidney. Hence the urine test is a useful test of diagnosing the many conditions and diseases.

Answer -

Metabolic disorder is an accumulation of conditions which can lead to heart disease stroke and diabetes.

These conditions include high level of glucose, high blood pressure , high urea ,creatinine and high lipids in the serum.

The important point to be noted here is all these conditions can lead to diseases such as stroke and diabetes while the disease like diabetes can also create all this condition and

In our case of Ori

there is increase in protein in the urine increasing level of creatinine, increase in level of lipids increase in level of glucose can be seen hence we can correlate this to the metabolic syndrome.
