• Symptoms of Feeligs of guilt, helpnessness, imsomnia, loss of interest in social things, Trouble concentrating, Irritability, Restlessness, Suicidal thoughts since 2 months
• Medicines not yet started

Four Behavioral Counselling sessions conducted for patient so far but no reults have shown in the past 1 month.

It is considered the major global burden of diseases according to WHO, depression is the fourth leading course of disability world wide, It is associated with the high rates of suicides and mortality.

Management of depression can be divided into 3 broad categories: Acute phase, continuation phase and maintenance phase

• Asees the level of suicide precautions needed, if its is high, does hospitalization required. If low so is it safe to be in home under the supervision of family.-

1. Admit previous suicide attempts
2. Have no peers/friends
3. Have any suicide plan

• Arrange for crisis counselling
• Encouage the patient to verbalize the feelings, perceptions and fears of current situation.
